• The internship typically lasts between six and twenty-six weeks. Part-time or full-time internships are also options.
• Costs we pay for: Interns get a monthly stipend from UNICEF. When funds is available, a one-time lump payment may also be given as a donation toward the cost of travel and visas.
• Visa: If required, UNICEF will provide pertinent documentation to support your visa applications.
Requirements
If your profile satisfies the following criteria, this is a life changing opportunity if you do want to apply:
• Aged at least 18 years.
• Are currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program, or you recently received your degree.
• Fluency in at least one of the three official languages of UNICEF: English, French, or Spanish. It can also be necessary for you to speak the working language of the company you are applying to.
• Not have any relatives in your direct reporting chain of authority, such as your mother, father, sister, or brother, working for UNICEF.
• Display high academic achievement and drive
• Any professional expertise you have that is pertinent to the position you are looking for will receive more weight.
